All Clear?

We took a break from skiing today and decided to visit the Children's
Discovery Zone in downtown Salt Lake City. The had a ton of fun things
to do, but our favorite was the helicopter. Anybody need a lift?

Skiing

|

Here you can see Uncle Zac skiing with me down the hill. See how he
uses the hula-hoop to help me down the hill. It really helps me with
my skiing. Soon enough I won't need the hula-hoop and I'll be able to
go down the hill all by myself...I can't wait!!

Off to the Slopes

|
Today we went out to hit the slopes. Unfortunately Kirsten wasn't
feeling well, so she had to stay home. In case you're wondering why I
have a hula-hoop, my ski instructors (Mommy and Uncle Zac) use it
to help me down the hill.

Brotherly Love

Normally Katelyn is the one hugging and tackling me, but this time it was
my turn! I know I'm not bigger than her yet, but give me a couple years
and I'm sure I'll be bigger. For now, I just have to surprise her
when she's not looking.

Utah Visit

|
|
|
Today was our first day in Utah visiting Uncle Zac and Aunt Lisa. We
drove all day yesterday to get here. Luckily we were able to watch
movies during the car trip which helped to make the time pass. We're
looking forward to going skiing and checking out some of the local area.

Happy Birthday!

Today I turned 4!! Can you believe that I'm 4 already?! Time sure does
fly doesn't it? My birthday cake was a team effort with everyone helping
out. I worked on making the icing purple and putting all the fancy
sprinkles on the cake. I think it turned out perfect!

You might say that we're Mom's little big helpers! This vacuuming thing
looked like fun so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Katelyn was kind enough

Dinner Time

Man...playing hard sure does work up an appetite. Good thing we had some
yummy dinner ready for us! (thanks old people) We all thought the pyramid
with the candles was pretty cool. It's kinda neat how the heat from the
candles make the people on the inside go around in a circle.

We had Avery and Lauren over today, and we all decided to get dressed up

Santa Visit

Today we visited Santa so we could tell him what we wanted for Christmas.
Katelyn only asked for headbands, and Kirsten asked for make-up. When
Katelyn heard her sister ask for make-up, she promptly added make-up to
her wish list too.

Play Time

I don't get to play with someone my size very often, so I absolutely
loved having my buddy Kellen over for some "guy" time. As you can see,
we're roughing up this truck and playing like big boys! This sure beats
getting dressed up by my sisters!

First Snow

It's official...today was the first snow of the year for us and we made
sure to take advantage of all the snow. We got our sleds out and had a
blast. We even made a snowman and a fort! Hopefully we'll have a lot
of snow days this winter!!

Taking a Walk

Mom and I are just hanging out at Pop and Gramgo's house taking
a walk up and down the "boardwalk." The weather was so nice that
we even got an opportunity to roast marshmallows after dinner.

We spent the afternoon at a friend's farm and I had fun exploring
all around. I checked out some old buildings, played in some leaves
and even helped Mommy collect some sticks for campfire. Too bad we

Let's Go Chiefs!

Today we took a day trip down to Kansas City to watch the Kansas
City Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins. It was our first-ever NFL
game and we had a blast! The weather was great and we can't wait
to go to another game!

Lauren and I decided that we would be witches this year and Kate
decided to be a bumble bee with a stinger. Don't try to take my
candy or my stinger might get you! All three of us made out like
champions and we got a lot of candy from our trick-or-treating
night of fun!

Master Yoda

Too bad I wasn't around when Star Wars came out. I'm sure Hollywood
would have cast me as Yoda!! I even managed to carry both my lightsaber

Katelyn may be new at carving and emptying out a pumpkin, but
I'm certainly not!! I think this is the best part...scraping out
all the pumpkin seeds and goo from inside the pumpkin. I did

painted our pumkins when we lived in Texas. Since it's much

We haven't had a sleepover in a while, and this weekend Avery came
over for a sleepover. It was a lot of fun having her over. she helped

Kirsten isn't the only one that gets gym time. Both Luke and I
also like coming to open gym and this was the first time that
Luke got to play on the bars. He's not doing pull-overs like
his big sister yet, but he was holding on to the bar all by
himself, which impressed me!

This evening we got to have a little bit of extra gym time since
it was open gym. At open gym we get to play and practice on
anything we want. I decided to work on my pull-overs and I'm

Best Friends

Molly and I were just tiny babies when we lived in Maryland, but
now that we're older, we had a blast playing together all night long.
Molly even got to spend the night in my new bed. I wish she lived

Today some of our friends from Maryland came to visit and spend
the night. I wasn't born yet when everyone live in Maryland, but
Molly and I got along just fine. I was able to get her to drive me

Kite Flying

It was a nice and windy day today so Daddy pulled out the kites
he bought for us in Michigan. We had a hard time getting them
started, but eventually the wind got a hold of them and we had the
kites flying nice and high. We tried to get a picture of the kites way
up high, but the picture didn't turn out very good. Lauren, Katelyn
and I all had a blast flying our kites.

Mommy lets me have my very own drawer that has some toys and
plastic containers. Well, just playing with the things in the drawer

Let's Ride Again

Don't let the first photo of me riding in the stroller fool you. There
were several rides that I was able to go on. With out a doubt, my
favorite ride was this one. I think I rode every single vehicle that
they had. I couldn't seem to get enough of it, and everytime Dad
(or Mom) took me off the ride I would complain. Good thing the lines
were short so we could get right back on the ride again!

While Kirsten was over on some of the rides for taller kids, I decided
to take the boats for a spin. You might notice my intense concentration
while I'm driving my boat. I was much more interested in how the
ride was working instead of enjoying the ride. I still had fun, but it
was more fun to try and figure out how the ride was working.

Since we had such a blast at Michigan Adventure, Mom and Dad
decided to take us to Adventureland, which is a lot closer and
very similar to Michigan Adventure. We really didn't know what

Even though I didn't learn to walk in Michigan, I did manage to work
on my climbing skills, which are really improving if I do say so myself.
I managed to climb up to the door handle, but for some odd reason,
the door seems to be stuck. Let me work on this for a bit and I'm
sure I'll eventually figure it out.

Bike Ride

While Luke took a nap, we took a bike ride with Daddy! We ended
up biking just over 4 miles. As a surprise along the way, Daddy had
some Gummi Bears for us and when we got back to town, we each
got our very own ice cream. And in case you're wondering, we got
some more bubble gum flavored ice cream again!

River Raiders

This afternoon we got everyone together for the great river run. Sarah
brought her kids over too so we had our hands full. We took kayaks,
canoes, tubes, and an inflatable dingy. No one fell out, but Kirsten
decided to jump in the river all on her own. I think she also managed
to soak Pop with the water guns that we brought along with us. Don't
worry, Pop soaked Kirsten pretty good even though she was already
all wet.

shops. The line was pretty long since there was a free concert
going on, but it was well worth the wait. In case you're wondering

Michigan Adventure

We were originally going to save Michigan Adventure for later
in the week, but the weather was perfect today so we decided
to go early. Kate and I were able to go on a lot of rides and

everything. I love climbing up and down the stairs, but most
of the time there's a gate in my way. Today Mommy found me

Country Girl

We went out to our friends' farm this weekend. I had a blast!
My favorite part was playing in the mud, as you can see, but we
also went exploring, rode the tractor, and roasted marshmallows
for s'mores. Good thing mommy brought lots of extra clothes and
my good mud boots. Kirsten and Luke had a lot of fun too, but no
one had as much fun as me!

This evening we colored some Easter eggs so we could be completely
ready for the Easter Bunny. My friend Karsyn came over to color

Doolittle Raider

Today we got to meet Lt Col Richard Cole, who flew on the #1 airplane
during the Doolittle Raid. His pilot was Gen Doolittle!! We also
got to meet all of the other Doolittle Raiders that are still with us.
It was really neat to meet some true Heroes. Thanks for taking the
time to talk with us!

Today we got of a B-25! Some flew in to town this week for the
Doolittle Radiers' 69th Reunion. We got to crawl all around the
inside and see what an old airplane looks like. Mommy was even
luckier though, she got to FLY on it!!

From what I've been told, this seems to be a common theme with 10 month
olds...we love to find the pots and pans. I decided to take it a step

I too got some stickers on my wall, but Daddy really surprised me when

Dog Sled Race

While we were up at Michigan Tech for Winter Carnival, Katelyn and I got
to go for a dog sled ride. After we were done, they told us that we
could come back the next day for the kids race!! I ended up driving

So what was our big night of fun? We went to a Michigan Tech hockey
game! We even got to meet Blizzard, the mascot for the Huskies. The

This is something that we didn't get to do in Texas, but it seems that Texas
is getting its fair share of snow this year! It's really cool to have our
own sledding hill and enough snow to go sledding. Daddy even sprayed furniture

Today was my birthday party! We got to eat and play at Peter Piper Pizza.
A lot of my friends came and we had such a fun time. Daddy made my

My friends Brooke and Gracie gave me my very first Barbie Doll and a
gymnastics leotard for her! I love her more than my new hula-hoop.

Day at the Lake

Check my sister and I out! We love going for rides on the Sea-
Doos. Don't worry Mommy and Daddy won't give us the keys until
we're quite a bit older. It's a lot of fun when Mommy and Daddy take
us out into the lake and let us jump in the water and float out by
the boats in our life jackets. We also played near the shore and in
the sand while Daddy grilled some hotdogs for our lunch. Luke just
hung out in his jungle swing the whole time. Maybe next year he'll
play in the sand and water with us.

Welcome Home Daddy

After being gone for awhile on a trip, Daddy finally made it back
home!! We thought it would be great to surprise him with his very
own ice cream cake......that Mommy made from scratch! It's really
good and we don't think it will last for very long.

My sisters might get to ride bikes, but I get to hang out in the
jungle! You might think I'm too little, but I'm pretty tough!

Slumber Party

After riding on our for bikes so long we got pretty tired. We took a
quick shower, brushed our teeth and hopped in bed. Shortly there
after it was story time and then we both drifted off to sleep to dream
about bike riding!!

I might not be able to ride on two wheels yet, but I'm going to
blame that on the designer of my bike. I'd like to see anyone
try and ride my style of bike with two wheels.......EXACTLY.

Riding horses wasn't the only thing we did while Daddy was busy
flying.....Mommy has been busy trying to have me work on my bike
riding skills and all that hard work finally paid off. Now the

Giddy Up

While Daddy was off flying, Mommy decided to take us horseback
riding. We got to walk around the ranch to see the
horses and animals that were there. After we were done looking
around we got to ride one of the horses! I had so much fun
that now I keep asking Mom and Dad for a horse!

I don't get these very often, but I smell really yummy when I'm
done getting one. I don't seem to mind them right now as long
as I get wrapped up in my towel as soon as I'm done. The warmer

today. They people at the gym pulled out all kinds of toys and

While Gramgo's been here visiting she's been very good about
taking us to the pool each morning to go swimming. During our
time at the pool we get to play, but not until after we are

Mommy decided to surprise everyone with some fresh peaches
today. Not only did she get fresh peaches, but she asked

Chillin' Luke

We had our cake and ice cream and managed to make it all
better still with cookies we decorated ourselves. As you
can see Kate is concentrating very hard and Kirsten has
managed to fit in all of the colors very nicely. Even better

Yes, that's right. I had a party for my half birthday
since my real birthday is the day after Christmas. It was
a blast. We had a Piņata, decorated cookies, and played in

Luke Anthony!!

Proud to announce the arrival of Luke Anthony! He weighed
in at 7lbs 14ozs, and both he and mom are doing well!

After the days were done, every night turned in to one
giant slumber party. Tonight was the girls only night
and we had a blast chatting for a long time. Eventually

Ready for Summer

The water was a little cold (well, for Texans at least) but
it didn't matter. Kate and I both had a blast and played
at the pool until it was closing time. We can't wait until
it's open full time......only three weeks away!
