Party Time

Today was my birthday party! We got to eat and play at Peter Piper Pizza.
A lot of my friends came and we had such a fun time. Daddy made my
yummy cake and it had two of my favorite things: A rainbow and a pony.
My friends Brooke and Gracie gave me my very first Barbie Doll and a
gymnastics leotard for her! I love her more than my new hula-hoop.

Day at the Lake

|
|
Check my sister and I out! We love going for rides on the Sea-
Doos. Don't worry Mommy and Daddy won't give us the keys until
we're quite a bit older. It's a lot of fun when Mommy and Daddy take
us out into the lake and let us jump in the water and float out by
the boats in our life jackets. We also played near the shore and in
the sand while Daddy grilled some hotdogs for our lunch. Luke just
hung out in his jungle swing the whole time. Maybe next year he'll
play in the sand and water with us.

Happy 5th Birthday!

Can you believe that I'm 5 already!! Mommy and Daddy keep
telling me that I'm growing up too fast. Daddy asked me what
I wanted for breakfast and I told him pancakes. If you can't
figure out what the shape of my special pancake, then you'd
better head back to Kindergarten!! You'll have to check back
in a bit to get a glimpse of my Birthday cake since it won't
be ready until later.....

Bubbles and S'mores

After a hard day's work of dancing and hanging around, it was
time to relax by the fire with some bubbles and some s'mores.
Most of the s'mores made it into our tummies, but if you look
closely you'll see that some stayed on our cheeks!

Mommy put me up on the bar and Daddy said I he wouldn't help
me get down until I gave him a pretty smile. After about 5
pictures I finally gave Daddy a smile good enough for him to

First Day of Dance

About a week ago Mommy took me to a new dance place to see if
I would be interested in taking dance lessons. (if you didn't
know, I've been dancing a lot around the house recently) I
fell in love right away and wanted to start that same day.
unfortunately I had to wait, but today was the big day and I
had a blast. I can't wait to go back again next week!!!

Sticker Mania

For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to put some
stickers on my Dad today........in retrospect, that my not of
been the best idea. Unfortunately these stickers were super
sticky and Daddy had to be very careful to take them off so
they didn't hurt. He showed me how taking a sticker off fast
is much better than doing it slow.....just like a band-aid!

As I'm sure you're well aware of by now, I love to help out with
my baby brother Luke! Today was no exception. Daddy was getting
ready to give Luke a bottle when I told him that I wanted to give

Most of the time Mommy, Gramgo or Daddy get all of Luke's snuggles,
but not right now. Today it was my turn to have snuggles with Luke

After being gone for awhile on a trip, Daddy finally made it back

After riding on our for bikes so long we got pretty tired. We took a
quick shower, brushed our teeth and hopped in bed. Shortly there
after it was story time and then we both drifted off to sleep to dream

While Daddy was off flying, Mommy decided to take us horseback
riding. We got to walk around the ranch to see the
horses and animals that were there. After we were done looking
around we got to ride one of the horses! I had so much fun
that now I keep asking Mom and Dad for a horse!

We had our cake and ice cream and managed to make it all

can see Kate is concentrating very hard and Kirsten has

Yes, that's right. I had a party for my half birthday
since my real birthday is the day after Christmas. It was
a blast. We had a Piñata, decorated cookies, and played in

Boat Tour

Well it's easy to see we're on a boat ride. The special
thing about this boat ride is that we're looking for wild
dolphins! We saw dozens of them, really close to the boat,
we could almost touch them. We saw a dolphin that was as old
as Mommy, some as old as Kate, and some that were newborn.
The baby dolphins were black and very cute.

I Love Camping!

I love camping. Here I am sitting next to the fire thinking
about eating some marshmallows. I've seen all sorts of animals
out here, and I am having a great time exploring with my lil'
sister. Last night we slept right on the beach! Tonight, I'm
on the lookout for raccoons. I've never seen one before, and
Uncle Zac says he saw one right here a couple nights ago!

Easter in Texas

Normally it would be difficult to enjoy the water on Easter, but
when you live in Texas, that's not a problem. We ended up going
to a near-by lake and we were surprised at how many other people
thought it would be fun to visit the lake also! That water was
a tad bit cold, but we didn't mind one bit.

One of the great things about soccer practice is that after
we're done we usually get to go play on the huge playground
that is near by for a little while. Even after our long and

cause I had a nasty sick bug. Thankfully I'm all better now.

was teaching me how to use a hammer and was nice enough to hold

We've been getting a lot of rain recently, but thankfully it was

decided to see how I could use them with my jeep and swing
set. I'm still trying to figure out some new stunts, but
swinging from the hood of my jeep seems to be the most fun for

We haven't been driving our rescue jeep around that much, but it got

Happy 2nd B-day Kate!

Yesterday was a big day, but for a certain little someone, today
might have been an even BIGGER day! Don't tell anyone, but we actually
celebrated my Birthday a couple days late so my cousins Elise and Claire
could be here for the party. It was well worth the wait and we had
quite the celebration (we even had crab legs and steak for dinner)!!
Heck, I should turn two more often!

Today was the BIG day, and I guess we were good!! (it also appears
that Santa Claus liked our cookies!) We spent most of the morning
opening presents from everyone. We did have to take a short breakfast
break but we started right back up again after we were done eating.

most fun! We walked all around the community trick-or-treating
with our friends and we tried to collect as much candy as

and night. Notre Dame came to San Antonio and we watched
them beat up on Washington State. We met some of Daddy's

The hardest thing about playing in the sand box is
making sure that Katelyn doesn't eat a mouth full
of sand. She's already had some delicious sand
snacks, so now I keep an eye on her to make sure
she doesn't eat any more sand!

Don't Forget about Me!

No you might think that my BIG sister is the only one
ready to play some hockey, but don't count me out!
I'm more than ready to play too. I might have some
problems seeing where I'm going, but I'm sure I'll
figure it out.

Ready for Hockey?

Are YOU ready for some hockey??!? I am, but I can't
seem to find any ice down here in Texas. Not to worry
though, we've been watching plenty of the NHL hockey
play-offs, and so far our Red Wings are playing well!!

Time to Rock

It's hard to tell from this still photo, but Kate and I
were having a blast rocking in the chair. Daddy had one
heck of a time trying to get a good picture, but I think
you'll agree that he finally got a pretty cute picture!

If you know anything about my Opa, you'd know that he
LOVES trains. There's no doubt that I inherited some
of his train craziness, and as you can see from the
picture, we had a crazy time putting together this

Comfy Chair

If you didn't know any better, you might think that my
Mom and Dad were cutting back on toys and "kid
accessories," but the truth is that I like this new toy!
It's a stroller, a chair and a table. Now that's one
good deal!

The Great Hunt

After my soccer game today, a lot of my friends came
over for brunch and an Easter Egg hunt!! Here we are
getting ready to go outside to find all the eggs. If

Strawberry Festival

Today we to a "surprise" car trip and we ended up at
the Strawberry Festival. We even met my friend Peyton
and the two of us had a blast walking around and riding
the rides. It was windy and sand was blowing everywhere,
but we still had a lot of fun! As you can see, we found
the biggest strawberry at the festival!!!

I was busy making some muffins for Daddy in my kitchen
this morning, so he decided to help me make some real
cup cakes. I think I'm using the phrase "help me"
loosely though since you can see who's doing all the
work!!!

Practice Makes Perfect

skills too! Today I'm mastering the balance
beam, and I am very determined to walk down it
all by myself.

Slumber Party

A couple weekends ago my friend Hannah spent
the night and we had a blast! We had spaghetti
for dinner, then played a ton until we finally
settled down to watch a movie. As you can see,
some of us are slightly more "zoned out" than
others when watching a movie!

Munchkins

Yikes!! What happened here? When my friend
Spencer came to visit we drank some magic
shrinking juice (you can see I'm still holding
the shrinking juice in my magic purple cup)
and look what happened!! Luckily we drank some
growing juice, so we weren't stuck being super
munchkins for too long!

Two little oinkers

With the rodeo comes all kinds of fun. There were
farm animals to pet, games to play, and even rides
to go on. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to
see anything other than the animals since we ran
out of time, but I made sure to get a good picture
with Mommy before we headed out!

Ready to Ride

This weekend we decided to go and hang out at the
rodeo that came to town. In Texas, the rodeo is
a BIG deal. So big, that it lasts over 3 weeks!!
You know the sayin'.....everything's bigger in
Texas! Well I used my BIG Texas charm so I could
sit on this pretty horse and looks like it worked
out nicely for me!

I'm Not Afraid

I'm such a tough girl that I didn't even have a
problem holding a snake!! I didn't want to hold
one that was bigger than me, so they found
a snake that was just my size. Unfortunately I
had to leave this cool snake behind. Maybe I'll
go back and visit him again sometime soon!

This weekend I had a slumber party and my friends Brooke
and Gracie not only came over, but they stayed the whole
night! We had a blast, and one our favorite things to do
was play doctor. I don't know about you, but I think
we're more than ready for our residency!

Ice Skating

Today was the first time I got to go ice skating. The local
hockey team has "free skate" before their home games on
Sunday afternoons, so we tried it out. Daddy ended up taking
me around the rink twice, but I'm not quite sold on ice
skating yet. I think I'll have to try it some more before
I really like it.

We went to my gym today since they had "open gym" and we had
a blast! I really liked practicing my balance on the balance
beam since I don't always get to do it in gym class.
